Sesame Sunday!

Hey lovey loves!

I hope your week has been awesome! What happened to us this week? I got a haircut, Heab has been off a few days so we've been hanging with friends, and cooking of course!

For this week, I am giving you a recipe that's called, Sesame Noodles. Granted, the noodles that I used are different than what most recipes call for. However, rest assured that it is SO delicious no matter what! I mean, you could use ramen, spaghetti, Asian noodles, whatever your fancy! Lol.

When I think of this recipe, I only think of one thing... simplicity. There is always a day during the week where you don't feel like doing anything in the kitchen, but still want a home cooked meal. This was it for me. I am a lover of carbs, as I'm sure you know. So, pairing the noodles, with the other Asian flavors I love, oh yeah baby. There was no question.

Here's what my finished product looked like.

Does that look delicious or what?!?

Exactly.

Anyhow, I will leave all the information below for the recipe. Take heed that there are so many recipes for Sesame Noodles, but this is the one that I used specifically. It is my own version of the many recipes that are listed online.

Prep Time: 10 Minutes

Cook Time: 10 Minutes

Servings: 4

::What You Need::

2 Tbsp. Sesame Oil

1 pkg. shredded cabbage (I use coleslaw mix)

2 Tbsp. minced garlic

4 Tbsp. soy sauce (I use reduced sodium)

1 Tbsp. brown sugar

4 Tbsp. oyster sauce

1 C. water

12 oz. Asian noodles (your choice)

Sesame seeds - optional

Green onions, chopped- for garnish

::What To Do With It::

1. Heat a wok, or large skillet on high heat, add sesame oil. When sesame oil is hot, put the cabbage mixture into the skillet. Cook for 2-4 minutes.

2. Meanwhile, add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and water into a bowl and whisk together. Then, start cooking the noodles to package instructions.

3. Add the sauce mixture to the skillet with the cabbage. Once the noodles are done, add to skillet and toss with veggies to coat all the ingredients together.

You ready for this?

YOU'RE DONE! That's right! That's it! You get to enjoy your hard labor with a wonderful bowl, or plate of sesame noodles! Heck yeah!

Let me know how you like it! I tell you what, I was super excited to try something vegetarian, and delicious. I have been wanting mostly egetarian dishes these ays, and I am so excited that I am learning how to cook all different kinds of food. Be sure to keep coming back for more recipes!

I've been asked why I won't do YouTube. Well, honestly... I don't want to be on video. I can write you on here all day long, but you get me on a video, and I freeze. I really appreciate all of you, and the good vibes you send my way. Keep sending them, they're much appreciated!

Since I am going to be doing recipes, I promise I will get better with photos. I am trying to get my camera to work correctly, so I can take ReaLLy good pics for you guys.

Well, that's it ya'll! I hope ya’ll have an awesome week coming up.

Remember to be kind, and love others. Everyone we see is fighting some kind of battle.

**Disclaimer**

The food, and recipe are of my own. I did not copy this recipe- or photos- from any website.
